Hi, my name is Laura Martinez. I am currently working in Fort Worth,TX as a Digital Marketing Manager for D.R. Horton, Inc. I started my career as a print designer in 2002 and have been working in web design and usability since 2007. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Advertising) from the University of Texas at Arlington. I currently call Grapevine, Texas home.  

I consider myself fortunate to be able to honestly say that I love what I do. Throughout my career, I have always viewed design as an opportunity to present solutions, not just to create something aesthetically pleasing.

As an experience designer, I find myself feeling the need to understand people, how they to absorb information, and find solutions that would help simplify their day to day lives.

As a usability professional, I am forever curious when it comes to understanding how technology changes mindsets, how people behave and how we can utilize technology to make life easier.

As a leader and a strategist, I am passionate about creating “fans” when I am creating an experience and find great joy in anticipating needs before those needs are even known.
